Play Blu-ray disks on your Mac
Mac's won't recognize Blu-ray devices because Apple chose not to support them in OS X. That's no longer the case thanks to Mac Blu-ray Player.
Mac Blu-ray player enables OS X to recognize Blu-ray devices instantly, meaning you can connect a Blu-ray to your Mac and watch Blu-ray discs. Not only that, but Mac Blu-ray Player supports almost every format out there so you can use it as your default player if you choose. Even better, for the first three months it's completely free to use, although a watermark is placed on the screen and some features will be disabled.
To play protected Blu-ray movies with Mac Blu-ray Player however, you need an internet connection because Mac Blu-ray Player has to acquire a license to play the movie on your system. Mac Blu-ray Player is fairly basic. There are very few options other than to add subtitles and change the audio track. When you start it up for the first time, it will also prompt you to select which files you want to associate with it so it won't take over your media files unless you allow it to.
Blu-ray Player also features a certain amount of social media support. You can post reviews or comment on the film your are watching to Facebook or Twitter, which is a pretty neat feature.
Mac Blu-ray Player feels a bit basic in design and you might experience some crashes and instability, but bear in mind this is the first release and the developers warn that some bugs and problems are to be expected.
If you've been frustrated by the lack of Blu-ray player support for your Mac, then Mac Blu-ray Player could be your answer.

you get what you pay for.
it's no substitute for the real thing, but you get what you pay for. And one can watch a movie/program.

You can play a disc and view an episode/movie, but....
Playing a disc such as one of a boxed collection (i.e., Game Of Thrones Season 3) is confusing at best. One must discern which is the correct running order of the episodes, the myriad other clips. features and files, do not play at all as they normally would on a stand-alone player (though one can select each individual clip or file to view). Will you be able to watch an episode? Yes. But there is some navigating and trial and error to do to be sure you're selecting the correct episode in the correct order, etc...
Pros:
it's free
you get what you pay for
Cons:
it is not a substitute for a stand-alone player.
it needs the ability to read the episode names on such discs
etc....

There is no trouble and operate simply.
This Blu-ray player really helps me a lot. I tried some other brands before which let me down over and over. I can't say it is a perfect one but at least the best among what I have used. There no so much troublesome problems during my operation to bother me so I am satisfied.
